Joo Ji-hoon Denied Bully Rumors, “I was not the perpetrator but the victim of school violence”
Actor Joo Ji-hoon confessed to being bullied in high school.
On April 8th, a video featuring actor Joo Ji-hoon as a guest was posted on comedian Shin Dong-yeop’s YouTube channel “Zzan Bro.”
In the video, Joo Ji-hoon shared, “My neighborhood is Cheonho-dong, it was a wild and hot neighborhood.” He added, “Cheonho-dong had a large population. I was in class 19 with 75 people per class. So how many bullies would there have been?” he recalled of his school days.
When asked if he was a bully, Joo Ji-hoon replied, “If I had done that, I wouldn’t have been able to be here now.” When asked, “Wasn’t there temptation?” Joo Ji-hoon said, “There were some people who really hit people. But they didn’t bother me because I was big. They made a group when I was in middle school.” Joo Ji-hoon confessed that he was rather bullied, saying, “I was bullied by them until I graduated from high school.”
