According to IVE member Gaeul, girl group IVE had a traffic accident while traveling between their packed schedules.
In the April 13th episode of the JTBC program “Han Moon Chul’s Blackbox Review”, IVE Gaeul appeared and shared her thoughts and experience.
In the same episode, the story of an accident, which occurred while an elderly woman was driving her granddaughter to school, was told. It is reported that the car suddenly did not move well before accelerating and flipping over in an instant, leading to the car being overturned. Fortunately, the granddaughter did not suffer serious injuries as she was wearing a seatbelt.
Upon hearing this, IVE Gaeul shared that IVE also had a traffic accident due to their busy schedule. “Fortunately, all members were not seriously injured thanks to the seatbelts. Once again, I realized the importance of seatbelts”, the female idol said.
Regarding the aforementioned accident, however, the grandmother was seriously injured, and the car was so heavily damaged it was basically rendered to scraps. It was reported that the windshield had to be broken to rescue the grandma.
About the situation, the affected’s son-in-law said, “My mother-in-law suffered serious injuries, but we cannot conduct a police investigation because the insurance does not cover the investigation of the sudden acceleration, which is frustrating.”
In response, Han Moon Chul expressed his anger, saying, “This really makes me angry.”
