Lee Bo Young’s next drama following “Mine” has been confirmed.
Lee Bo Young has been cast to lead JTBC’s new drama “Agency” (working title). Lee Bo Young will return to the small screen as a “commercial queen” who dominates the competitive advertising industry.
“Agency” is an office drama that depicts the process of Go Ah In, an orphan who becomes the first female executive at a large advertising agency and builds her career from nothing to the best position. It is expected to portray a precarious reality of advertising agencies that look professional on the outside, but struggle to survive in the back.
Lee Bo Young will play the main character Go Ah In. Although she is an orphan who was born poor without support from her family or academic background, Go Ah In is a fierce woman with a strong desire for success. The more lonely and painful the situation is, the more she pushes herself, fights until the end, and runs towards the top. She only cares about success and money. Lee Bo Young, who has both soft charisma and unrivaled dominance on the screen, promises to flawlessly portray a strong and independent female protagonist.
Lee Bo Young has established herself as a ‘top actress’ through praiseworthy performances in various genres. Last year, she perfectly played Seo Hee Soo, a former top actress and daughter-in-law of a chaebol family who falls into desire in the drama “Mine”, showing the image of a strong female figure who doesn’t give up until she gets what she wants.
