Girl group STAYC recently visited Rangers Football Club in Scotland

STAYC visited Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow on November 6th (local time) at the invitation of Rangers Football Club, a prestigious Scottish football club. Rangers FC is one of Scotland’s leading football clubs with more than 150 years of tradition and 55 Premiership titles.

That day, STAYC appeared at Ibrox Stadium in Glasglow, the home of Rangers FC, to attend a uniform presentation ceremony and had a tour around the stadium in the warm welcome of the staff.

Against the backdrop of the stadium, the members filmed Teddy Bear Challenge and spread their unique ‘teenfresh’ energy. Visiting Rangers Museum, the girl group also created unforgettable memories with football fans who visited the site.

Earlier, STAYC made a mistake as they wore uniforms of Scotland’s Rangers FC instead of Texas Rangers, a baseball club based in Texas, at the Dallas, US show of their first world tour ‘TEENFRESH’. The incident, which occurred due to the similarity between the names of the clubs, was highlighted in headlines of foreign media, such as the UK’s BBC and US’s New York Times.

Later, Rangers FC invited the girl group to Scotland, saying “We are grateful to STAYC members who introduced Rangers FC to K-POP fans around the world”. In response to the invitation, STAYC said, “Thank you Rangers FC for showing a pleasant response to this unexpected incident. It is our honor to have the opportunity to greet Scotland and Rangers FC fans.”

Along with the visit of Rangers FC, who recently won the Scottish Premiership final, STAYC’s global move is also arousing attention in Scotland.

Meanwhile, STAYC will release their third Japan single album “LIT” on December 6th and continue the album promotions as well as their world tour until next year.
