According to a report by Dispatch on December 31st, IU and Lee Jong Suk have been dating for 4 months, and their families have already acknowledged the two of them. IU also sang a congratulatory song at Lee Jong Suk’s younger brother’s wedding, while Lee Jong Suk and IU went on a Christmas trip together in Japan.
On the same day, agencies of both IU and Lee Jong Suk admitted to the relationship, revealing that the couple started as friends and later developed into lovers.
After this dating news, fans of the two are leaving comments of support, saying that the two look extremely sweet together. In addition, a netizen also brought up IU’s Instagram story on December 24th, adding, “I think this photo was taken when she was traveling in Japan (with Lee Jong Suk” and “I hope IU is happy”.
On the other hand, IU and Lee Jong Suk have been friends for the past 10 years, before becoming lovers. They worked together as co-MCs for the SBS music program “Inkigayo” from December 2012 to August 2013.
