Actress-singer Lee Ji-eun (IU) is said to be a ‘close contact’ of Covid-19 patients and will not carry out several schedules for the time being.

Because of this, Lee Ji-eun will not attend the Chunsa Film Art Awards. Also, it is uncertain whether she will attend New Balance’s “2022 Run-on Seoul Women” event, which is scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 2nd, or not.

In this regard, Chunsa Film Art Awards explained, “After returning to Korea yesterday, IU received the notice that she had been classified as one of those who had close contact with Covid-19 patients. As we know, she has done PCR test and is waiting for the result”.

Meanwhile, Lee Ji-eun recently appeared as So-young in the movie “Broker”, which was released in June. She also carried out activities as a singer by the first Korean female singer to hold a solo concert at Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium on September 17th and 18th
