The incident occurred around 4:30 AM KST in the Nonhyeon-Dong neighborhood of Gangnam, Seoul on February 5.
The influencer in question is a DJ, renowned in both China and Korea, is reported to have caused the accident while driving under the influence. The victim, a 50-year-old deliveryman, was rushed to the hospital but, sadly, succumbed to his injuries.
Details reveal that the DJ’s blood alcohol level surpassed the permissible limit, leading to the revocation of her driver’s license. Eyewitnesses claim she did not cooperate with the police upon their arrival. Instead of immediately alerting first responders, she chose to sit at the scene alongside her dog.
Korean media interviewed the DJ’s mother, who insisted that her daughter did not have any intention to kill the victim. Despite the heartbreaking outcome, the mother maintains that the incident was unintentional from her daughter’s perspective.
