Hollywood actress who held her breath underwater for 7 minutes and 14 seconds to film “Avatar 2”

This actress impressed by spending over 7 minutes underwater to film “Avatar 2”.

Kate Winslet even set an underwater breath-holding record of 7 minutes and 14 seconds during the filming, proving the highest level of synchronization with her character, a water goddess. She already had experience filming underwater thanks to participating in director James Cameron’s previous film “Titanic”.

In an interview with Total Film on December 13th (local time), Kate Winslet said, “I have the video of me surfacing saying, ‘Am I dead, have I died?’ Straight away I wanted to know my time. And I couldn’t believe it. I wanted director James Cameron to know right away.

She continued, “I didn’t have to hold my breath for over 7 minutes. It’s just that the opportunity to set a record presented itself. I wanted to break my record, which was already 6 minutes and 14 seconds. And I was like, ‘Come on!’ so I smashed my own record by a minute.”
