“Big Mouth” Lee Jong-suk X Im Yoon-ah as a married couple who will reveal the real face of the privileged upper classes
These two young stars, who stimulate the viewers’ excitement just by hearing their names, will work together as husband and wife. They’re Lee Jong-seok and Im Yoon-ah. Starring the two as a married couple, MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Big Mouth” (scripted by Kim Ha-ram/ directed by Oh Chung-hwan and Bae Hyun-jin) tells about a lawyer with a 10% success rate who becomes the genius conman “Big Mouse” after getting caught up in a murder case. He will dig into a huge conspiracy among the privileged upper classes and reveal their real faces to survive and protect his family.
Lee Jong-seok appears as Park Chang-ho, a third-rate lawyer with a 10% success rate who is called “Big Mouth” because he tends to speak before acting. Im Yoon-ah takes on the role of Go Mi-ho, a nurse at Gucheon Hospital and Park Chang-ho’s wife. She owns admirable confidence and outstanding beauty. “Big Mouth” depicts the story of an ordinary couple who takes a different path due to an unexpected fate. Expectations are high for the chemistry between the two actors, whose visuals are like comic characters, and new transformations that they have never shown before. The drama will air the first episode at 9:50 p.m on July 29th.
‘Genre master’ Ji Sung will play a double role in a murder case through “Adamas”
Ji Sung, who has been reborn as a master of complicated genres through “The Devil Judge”, “Doctor John” and “Innocent Defendant”, will return to the small screen. Starring Ji Sung, tvN’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Adamas” (scripted by Choi Tae-kang/ directed by Park Seung-woo) unveils the story of twin brothers in which the older brother seeks the real culprit to clear the charges on their biological father, who was accused of killing their stepfather, while the younger brother looks for Adamas, the evidence of the murder. This drama depicts the process of twin brothers discovering the truth. Ji Sung will challenge a double role, portraying twin brothers Ha Woo-shin and Song Soo-hyun at the same time.
Like the drama’s copy phrase “The older seeks the culprit, the younger looks for evidence”, Ji Sung plans to pull off two characters Ha Woo-shin, an author who writes best-selling detective stories, and Song Soo-hyun, a special prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutors’ Office, with two completely different faces. Since Ji Sung has experienced playing 7 characters at once in “Kill Me, Heal Me”, fans are looking forward to see the multi-layered face that he will show through “Adamas”. It will premiere at 10:30 p.m on July 27th.
