Soyou “Now I’d rather ride ‘Stairway to Heaven’ than eat 4 quail eggs”

Soyou appeared on MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope”.

On the Aug 1st broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope”, Soyou introduced and talked about her new album in the “Live On Air” corner.

When DJ Kim Shin Young said “There’s a saying that ‘summer means Soyou, Soyou means summer’. Summer is made for you. You got a tan this time“, Soyou confessed, “I got a tan. And it’s the first time since debut that I’ve dyed my hair this bright. So there are quite a few people who don’t recognize me.”

Kim Shin Young responded, “I was also surprised while watching your performance. But when I heard your voice, I recognized ‘Oh, Soyou’ at the first note.”

When Kim Shin Young asked “You brought the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ exercise equipment into your house, right?“, Soyou caused laughter by explaining, “These days, people talk about this rather than my songs. While my staff were drinking coffee at a cafe, they heard people say, ‘Did you see Soyou this time?’ The staff thought, ‘Oh, they must be talking about the new song or the music video.’ However, people were talking about the fact that I have ‘Stairway to Heaven’ at home. I knew a lot of people were amazed.”

Kim Shin Young continued, “The diet plan you mentioned on a recent variety show also became a hot topic. You said you ate 4 quail eggs a day. 4 quail eggs vs Stairway to Heaven, which one is harder?” Soyou made everyone laugh as she answered, “4 quail eggs.”

Soyou added, “‘Stairway to Heaven’ only takes an hour to ride. But there seems to be a misunderstanding about quail eggs. It’s not that I’m doing it now. In the past, I did it to lose more weight when I was already thin. I told you not to go on a diet like that. Now I’d rather ride ‘Stairway to Heaven’.”
