(G)I-DLE Yuqi shot Park Mi Sun’s taste with confidence.
On May 18th, (G)I-DLE Yuqi appeared in a video on the YouTube channel “MISUN:IMPOSSIBLE”.
Park Mi Sun asked, “Do you like snacks?” Yuqi replied, “I really like snacks. I like tteokbokki. The first Korean food I ate after coming to Korea was tteokbokki.” Accordingly, Park Mi Sun cooked tteokbokki on the spot for Yuqi.
Yuqi confessed, “Isn’t Tteokbokki Korea’s representative food? When I first came to Korea to play, I ate tteokbokki for the first time in Myeong-dong.” When asked “Did you like Korea before your debut?“, she answered, “I loved K-pop so much that I dreamed of becoming a singer.”
Park Mi Sun praised Yuqi’s Korean skills, “I didn’t know you’re Chinese because you spoke Korean so well.” Yuqi revealed that she came to Korea at the age of 18 through a global audition.
(G)I-DLE made a comeback with the new song “Queencard”. Upon hearing the title of the song, Park Mi Sun explained, “During my school days, people called the girl who was the most outstanding, the prettiest and studied well a queencard.” Yuqi shot Park Mi Sun’s taste by responding, “Isn’t it our story?“
After explaining that the song is about a woman full of confidence regardless of her appearance, Park Mi Sun asked, “Do you have that side?” Yuqi replied, “I’ve had nothing but confidence since I was a baby. I’m good at everything. People think I’m bluffing, but I’m good at what I do.” Park Mi Sun said with a smile, “I like this confidence.”
To the question “Do you sometimes go around without makeup?“, Yuqi replied, “Yes.” When asked if people recognized her, she made Park Mi Sun laugh by showing off her unstoppable volubility, “People recognize me. But I’m prettier with my bare face.”
Confident Yuqi shared that she is also good at cooking. When asked what kind of dish she cooks well, Yuqi surprisingly revealed her own recipe, “I’m not lying. I’m good at making soybean paste stew. It’s really delicious. I add half soybean paste and half ssamjang.”
