Former Running Man member Kang Gary makes official appearance in a new show after a long time

Kang Gary is said to look a bit different in his latest appearance due to weight loss.

On September 29th, the online press conference for Mnet’s new entertainment show “Artistock Game” was held.

Lee Sang Yeop, Kang Gary, Kim Ho Young, Nucksal, Bada, Highlight’s Yang Yoseob, Epitone Project, Jo Jung Chi, PD Jung Woo Young, and CP Choi Hyo Jin attended the press conference on this day.

In particular, Kang Gary drew attention by appearing with a noticeably slimmer face after a long time since his appearance in the entertainment show “Law of the Jungle”, which ended in January last year. He showed off a sharp jawline. It looks like he lost some weight.

Kang Gary, who joined the “Artistock Game” user delegation, said, “I like the concept of investing and cheering by participating in the musician’s future value. I also decided to appear on the program because I wanted to see how many such musicians there would be.”

He continued, “After the recording, I went home and stared blankly at the ceiling. I felt like I was beaten on stage by the 48 performers. There were a lot of people who were very good. Please watch the program with interest.”

“Artistock Game” is a music variety entertainment program with a new concept that combines ‘game’ with ‘artistock’, a compound word of artist and stock.

It introduces a new concept interactive music survival game in which viewers around the world receive virtual game money to vote and invest in the talents of the participating artists.

Actor Lee Sang Yeop is the main MC, and Kang Gary, Kim Ho Young, Nucksal, Bada, Highlight’s Yang Yoseob, Epitone Project, GOT7’s JB, and Jo Jungchi will appear as user representatives.

48 artists with outstanding musical talent in various genres, including hip-hop, R&B, indie bands, ballad, Korean traditional music, and musicals, will present high-quality performances. The program is set to premiere on October 3rd at 9:20 PM KST.

On the other hand, Kang Gary, who was in his heyday as an original member of SBS’s “Running Man”, left the program after about 7 years in 2016, upsetting many fans. At the time, he decided to leave to focus on his music career. Kang Gary later married a non-celebrity woman 10 years younger than him in 2017 and has a son, Kang Haoh.
