This famous actor reportedly appeared at a flooded site where electricity and water were cut off to do volunteer work

Jo Han-sun was recently seen practicing good deeds by himself. His appearance in helping the recovery after flood was revealed on the Facebook of Gyeonggi Province Council member Lee Ki-in.

On August 14th, Lee participated in the flood recovery voluntary activity at the underground parking lot of an apartment in Unjung–dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. The apartment got electricity and water cut off because the machine room was flooded due to heavy rains in the past few days.

Lee helped remove mud and set up barricades in preparation for heavy rain. He also mentioned his meeting with actor Jo Han-sun.

Lee said, “Actor Jo Han-sun also joined the work today. It turned out that he’s a resident here”. He explained, “He (Jo Han-sun) worked nonstop from the beginning until the end without resting and also encouraged other residents to join”.

He continued, “He helped like it was his job and didn’t consider it someone else’s business. I found him so sincere as he kept working silently”. Lee also praised Jo Han-sun, saying “That must be how an actor who has been loved for a long time is different from others.”

Lee released a photo of his pants covered in mud along with the caption, “I don’t need pictures but I hope the rain will stop”. Kim Sung-won, another member of the Province Council, visited a site suffering from the flood in Dongjak-gu, Seoul on August 11th and did volunteer work. At that time, Kim said, “Honestly, I hope it rains a little so that the pictures will come out nicely”. Therefore Lee’s caption is believed to sarcastically criticize Kim’s remark.
