Moon So-ri To Make Special Appearance In Netflix’s “Hellbound 2” And Prove Her Strong Presence

Actress Moon So-ri will appear in Netflix’s series “Hellbound Season 2”

According to an OTT industry official on November 8th, Moon So-ri recently joined Season “Hellbound 2” and already completed filming in October. Although it’s only a special appearance, the actress is expected to showcase her impactful presence.

“Hellbound” is a Netflix series about a supernatural phenomenon in which people are sentenced to Hell by creatures that appear without notice, a religious group that creates chaos, and people who want to unveil the reality of the incidents. It released the first season in 2021 and ranked No.1 in various countries, such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Korea. At that time, CNN even reported, “‘Hellbound’ is the new ‘Squid Game’”.

Season 2 will depict the story that begins with the resurrection of Kim Shin-rok (Park Jung-ja) and Kim Sung-chul (Jung Jin-soo) after the shocking ending of Season 1. There have been many changes to the cast lineup, such as Kim Sung-chul replacing Yoo Ah-in, who is controversial due to drug charges, and the joining of Moon Geun-young and Lim Sung-jae as new characters. With the joining of Moon So-ri, the drama is raising high expectations from viewers.

Moon So-ri has appeared in only OTT series this year. Making a comeback after a long time, she decided to take on dramas Netlix’s “Queenmaker” and Disney+’s “Race” rather than movies. The actress then continued her hard-working moves on OTT with “Hellbound 2”. Attention is focused on what she will show in the special worldview of “Hellbound”.

“Hellbound Season 2” is scheduled to premiere in 2024.
