Yoo Seung Ho will star in an OTT project for the first time in 23 years.
YG Entertainment released a statement on October 28th to confirm Yoo Seungho’s appearance in Wavve’s original series “Deal”.
“Deal” is a crime thriller drama based on a webtoon of the same name. It depicts the ‘billion dollar kidnapping’ of two young men in their 20s who accidentally kidnapped a classmate. The story takes place when a sloppy kidnapping of three friends, including a hostage-taker, falls out of control.
In the drama, Yoo Seung Ho plays the main character Lee Jun Seong, a promising soccer player in high school, but after his dream was shattered, he wanders and vows to start a new life. However, Jun Seong gets involved in a kidnapping by his friend, and once again experiences complex and diverse emotions at the crossroads between reality and ideals.
Yoo Seung Ho has been consistently proving his acting skills through various works such as the movies “Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River”, “Blind”, the dramas “Memorist” and “Remember”. In the drama “Moonshine”, which ended early this year, his charismatic action and delicate emotional acting were shown.
Therefore, anticipation is growing as to what Yoo Seung Ho will show in his first OTT challenge “Deal”, which is scheduled to be filmed in the second half of this year.
