Ex-NMIXX Jini Criticized For Her Insincere Attitude During Fancall
Fans expressed disappointment in the attitude of former NMIXX member Jini when doing fancalls
On March 14th, a fan drew attention with their post on thread pointing out Jini’s insincere attitude while talking with fans during fancall events.
The fan said, “This was from yesterday. She made it so obvious that she was switching the screens, I’ve never seen anyone do it like her. She used the phone as a mirror all the time”, criticizing the female idol for using the phone screen as a mirror to check on her appearance many times while talking to fans.
They emphasized, “You’re doing an online fansign with fans, not checking your appearance in a mirror. If you want to look at the mirror, just go home. We paid so much money just to see you use the phone as a mirror at fancalls?”
Later, another fan on thread posted a compilation of fancall videos in which Jini kept fixing her hair in the middle of conversations.
In a video, this female fan added captions exposing Jini’s lack of sincerity when talking, such as touching the screen to make the frame of the fan look smaller than hers and not focusing on what the fan said.
In response, other fans and netizens commented, “Many Chinese fans already left the fandom. Some attended as many as 10-20 fansign and fancall events revealed on Weibo that Jini’s poor attitude, such as switching the screens and giving plain answer”, “Not to mention remember fans’ names, she just said ‘I don’t know’ when a fan told her to guess how many time they had met. She had better guess a number rather than answering insincerely like that”, “Seeing so many fans leaving the fandom after meeting her at fansign events, I can say that the situation has gotten so serious. I watched some fancall videos and she didn’t even put any effort into reacting to fans.
