Entertainment venue manager changes stance “I didn’t see G-Dragon directly using drugs”

A, the female manager of the adult entertainment establishment, changed her stance, stating that she did not witness singer G-Dragon using drugs

According to KBS on Nov 29th, A stated during a police investigation, “On Dec 7th last year, Kwon Ji-yong visited my adult entertainment establishment. In the bathroom of the room where Kwon was, there was a tray with remnants of cocaine.”

However, it was revealed that A recently changed her position regarding G-Dragon during a police investigation.

As the investigation repeated, she stated, “I didn’t see Kwon directly using drugs. Another actor, C, who visited my adult entertainment establishment with Kwon, could have done it.”

G-Dragon has consistently and strongly maintained since being criminally charged on Oct 25th that “I didn’t use drugs“.

He expressed doubts about the credibility of A’s statement. On Nov 13th, in an interview with Yonhap News TV, he said, “I have no way to explain, but the current behavior of that person seems strange to me. I also have a lot of doubts about the credibility of that person’s statement because based on what I’ve heard, that person has a previous drug record.”

Drug tests on urine, hair and nails for G-Dragon all came back negative. The police promptly lifted the foreign travel ban on Nov 25th.

With A changing her statement and no further evidence of G-Dragon’s drug use emerging, there is a growing possibility that the case will be concluded without additional summonses.
