“Big Mouth” viewer rating soared to 13.2% as soon as Kim Joo-heon was revealed to be an accomplice in the murder case
Big Mouse finally appears. Lee Jong-seok will be facing Big Mouse, the king of the dark world.
In the August 26th broadcast of MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “Big Mouth” (created by Jang Yong-chul, Jung Kyung-sun/ scripted by Kim Ha-ram/ directed by Oh Chung-hwan/ produced by AStory, Studio Dragon, A-Man Project), Park Chang-ho (Lee Jong-seok) and Ko Mi-ho (Im Yoona) were seen revealing the truth of the murder at Gucheon Hospital with their perfect teamwork. It also heralded a face-to-face meeting between Park Chang-ho and Big Mouse, the king of the dark world.
Despite being an escaped prisoner, Park Chang-ho appeared in front of the camera and revealed the truth through his teamwork with Ko Mi-ho, who attended the trial. Gong Ji-hoon (Yang Kyung-won) met with Jang Hye-jin (Hong Ji-hee), who had the secret documents. However, everything was a trap designed by Park Chang-ho and Ko Mi-ho. Park Chang-ho then caused a stir by broadcasting the scene where Gong Ji-hoon asked Jang Hye-jin to give him Seo Jae-yong (Park Hoon)’s secret documents. “Wait for me, Big Mouse. You’re next”, Park Chang-ho said then returned to Guchon Prison to catch Big Mouse, but the atmosphere inside the prison was unusual. A so-called “ghost disease” that caused everyone to throw up blood and faint occurred.
In the meantime, the whole story of Gucheon Hospital murder case was revealed and surprised people. The three suspects who killed Seo Jae-yong asked Choi Do-ha (Kim Joo-heon), not Gong Ji-hoon, for help, and he deliberately caused a car accident to get rid of them. In addition, he obtained the secret documents from Jang Hye-jin and gained the trust of Chairman Kang (Jeon Kook-hwan). The suspects exploded with anger at Choi Do-ha’s careful plan but since the clues had been destroyed, Choi Do-ha couldn’t be proved an accomplice.
Choi Do-ha shocked everyone as he was found to be the person who buried the gold bars. Piling up the gold bars in an abandoned warehouse, he smiled and took out the secret documents that were supposed to have disappeared from the world, raising the viewers’ curiosity about his identity. On the other hand, Park Chang-ho sent a message to Big Mouse asking for a meeting. After promising the time, someone finally appeared behind Park Chang-ho.
Meanwhile, the 9th episode of “Big Mouth” recorded a Seoul viewer rating of 1.7% and 11.5% nationwide, securing its No.1 spot among Friday-Saturday dramas. According to Nielsen Korea, the decisive moment when Gucheon Mayor Choi Do-ha was revealed to be an accomplice in Gucheon Hospital murder case drew the viewers’ excitement and helped the rating rise dramatically to reach 13.2%.
The face-to-face meeting between Park Chang-ho and Big Mouse will be revealed in the 10th episode, which will air at 9:50 p.m today (August 27th).
