Battle between Popular K-pop Girl Groups This February Raises Expectations

The comeback timeline of popular girl groups next month is as follows: BABYMONSTER on February 1st, LE SSERAFIM on February 19th, and TWICE on February 22nd. It’s going to be a significant competition between girl groups from big entertainment companies: YG, HYBE, and JYP.

BABYMONSTER had a successful debut with ‘Batter Up’ at the end of 2022, following in the footsteps of 2NE1 and BLACKPINK. Their highly anticipated follow-up song is ‘Stuck In The Middle.’

The intriguing aspect, alongside the teaser for the new song, is whether BABYMONSTER will break YG’s unconventional mystery strategy of no offline promotions. Curiosity also surrounds their first live stage.

LE SSERAFIM, is releasing their third mini-album ‘Easy’ on February 19th. With tracks like ‘Fearless,’ ‘Anti Fragile,’ and ‘Unforgiven,’ speculations arise about LE SSERAFIM’s new transformation hinting at a definite artistic identity. Despite being an extra track, the success of their English song ‘Perfect Night’ continues to contribute to the high expectations for the new album.

Top 3rd gen girl group TWICE is gearing up for their comeback, marking their 16th mini-album, ‘With You-th,’ set to release on February 23rd. Ahead of the album release, TWICE plans to pre-release one of the tracks, ‘I Got You.’ The song is entirely in English.
