In particular, according to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the amount of propofol administered by Yoo Ah In in 2021 alone is more than 4,400ml, adding to the surprise.
It is advisable that the number of propofol doses for simple procedures and diagnoses does not exceed once a month. In addition, it is known that the normal dosage is 5~10ml/time.
However, considering the amount Yoo Ah In took for a year, he used an average of 60ml every 5 days.
SBS quoted a medical expert, “As it is difficult to administer 60ml at once, the medical community analyzes that it must have been divided into several times and administered continuously.”
A psychiatrist explained, “Because the effect deteriorates, there’s a high possibility that the dose that needs to be taken once will increase. It’s possible that it was divided into a few times.”
Meanwhile, the police believe that Yoo Ah In may have developed propofol resistance, and are even investigating his administration records in 2022. As soon as the investigation is completed, the police will summon Yoo Ah In as a suspect in violation of the Narcotics Control Act to investigate the details of drug use.
