“Our players were awesome” J-Hope showed support for the national soccer team after the game against Ghana.
On November 29th, BTS’s J-Hope posted a video on Weverse, a fan community, with the caption, “Our players worked hard! They were awesome.”
The video shows the cheering right after player Cho Kyu Sung scored two goals in the Korea vs. Ghana match on November 28th. J-Hope’s cheering voice was heard.
Meanwhile, the Korean national soccer team, led by coach Paulo Bento, played the second leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar Group H group stage against Ghana at 10:00 pm KST on the same day at the Al Rayyan Education City Stadium in Qatar. They unfortunately lost 2-3.
Previously, the Korean national team recorded a 0-0 draw in the first leg against Uruguay on November 24th and received one point. The team will face Portugal in the third leg on December 3.
