Amid the hot popularity of “Queen of Tears”, netizens suddenly re-examined the past controversies of writer Park Ji-eun. According to some drama fans, many of Park Ji-eun’s hit dramas, including “Crash Landing on You”, “My Love From The Star” and even “The Legend of the Blue Sea”, were accused of plagiarizing and copying ideas.

In particular, the biggest plagiarism scandal broke out when “Crash Landing on You” aired. At that time, a netizen claimed themselves as Park Ji-eun’s plagiarizing victim and released a long letter. Accusing the writer of copying ideas, this person confessed that they had to receive treatment for psychological issues and even thought of making an extreme choice. However, the drama was so successful that people soon forgot about the accusation, and “Crash Landing on You” team even sued the accuser.
