A Male Idol Reveals Past Love Story, “I Broke Up With Ex-girlfriend Because She Cheated On Me Twice”
VIXX member Ken made a confession about his love story in the past
Episode 3 of ENA’s music entertainment program “Hit Song In My Ear”, which aired on December 2nd, showed the studio filled with MC Boom, as well as Eunhyuk, EXID’s Solji, WJSN’s Seola, Layone, VIXX’s Ken, Kei, Jo Jin-se, Maddox, Rihey, and Hwanhee.
Solji was the first to take the “hit song” challenge. She shared, “10 years ago, I was having a fling with a man. Suddenly, he enlisted, so we went to have a meal and karaoke for the last time. At that time, I sang Park Hwayobi’s ‘Such a thing’.” She then performed the song with her attractive singing voice and was highly praised.
The second challenger was WJSN’s Seola. Regarding her favorite song, she shared, “It was the song that made me dream of becoming a singer”, adding “One day, I went to the karaoke with my friends and they all sang this song”. Seola’s selection was “Magic Carpet Ride” by Jaurim. With the help of Rihey and Layone, Seola also succeeded in the mission. The third person to take the challenge was rapper Layone. Revealing how his dream changed from a broadcasting PD to music, he mentioned Eun Ji-won’s “160” was the ‘hit song’ then heated up the stage with his powerful rap and energy.
Finally, VIXX’s Ken stood up as the last challenger in the episode. He shared, “When I was in middle school, my ex-girlfriend made a confession toward me after listening to my song but she cheated on me after a short time”, then chose Lee Seung-chul’s “Malri Flower” for his challenge.
Confessing his love trauma, Ken said, “I got cheated twice and we broke up”, adding “After listening to this song, I told myself that I would never date anyone who says they like me.”
After completing some missions, Ken’s long-awaited live performance of “Malri Flower” was unveiled. The VIXX member impressed viewers with his clean high notes and diverse emotional expressions. After watching the performance, Eunhyuk commented, “How can anyone not fall in love with Ken after listening to his voice?”. Solji applauded Ken and said, “I know why women liked him.”
