Twice’s Jihyo Makes Successful Solo Debut, Enters Billboard 200 at 14th Place

Twice’s leader Jihyo successfully held her solo debut showcase.

According to an official announcement on the Billboard website on August 29th, Jihyo entered the charts with her mini 1st album ‘ZONE,’ released on August 18th. She secured the 14th spot on the ‘Billboard 200’ and the 10th spot on the ‘Artist 100’ for the week of September 2nd (local time).

In addition, she achieved success on a total of 9 chart categories, including Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, Billboard Global 200, Billboard Global (excluding the US), LyricFind Global, World Albums, and World Digital Song Sales.

Previously, Jihyo’s mini 1st album had an outstanding performance, recording 534,565 copies in first-week sales according to the Hanteo Chart.

On the global largest music streaming platform Spotify, she secured a spot within the Top 10 on the Top Album Debut Global Chart, Top Album Debut USA Chart (August 18, 2023 – August 20, 2023), and Top Album Debut UK Chart (August 18, 2023 – August 21, 2023). Her title track ‘Killin’ Me Good’ reached the top of the Global Song Debut Chart (August 18, 2023 – August 20, 2023).

Moreover, the ‘#KillinMeGood Challenge’ is gaining popularity. Collaborating with Twice members, JYP Entertainment’s CEO Park Jinyoung, and various artists, Jihyo’s spreading the addictive choreography of ‘Killin’ Me Good,’ creating new synergy. The total views of short-form videos on the official channel exceeded 20 million views as of the afternoon of the 29th.
