TWICE’s incredible friendship: Jeongyeon recalled the wrist-holding detail in “Alcohol Free” choreography in an interview with GQ Korea 

Friendship is still going strong among TWICE members. 

In June 2021, TWICE came back with “Alcohol Free” with Jeongyeon in the formation after her hiatus due to her health condition. Fans noticed that, in every stage of “Alcohol Free,” Sana always grabbed Jeongyeon’s wrist during their performances. Jeongyeon talked about the detail once again in her interview with GQ Korea: 

GQ: What enabled you to break your trapped thoughts? Did you hate yourself for curling up for so long?

Jeongyeon: No. For me, the members gave me a lot of strength. The members got me back on my feet. The members are so important. They never told me “Cheer up, you can do it.” They just came to me all the time. They called me and told me that something happened today, and then said, “Are you going here, do you want to come with us?”

GQ: If anything.

Jeongyeon: Yes, if anything. I didn’t have any friends who didn’t believe me. They all believed in me, they waited for me, so I guess I got closer to the members, even though I used to be like that.

TWICE debuted in 2015 and renewed their contract in July 2022. The girl group is preparing for a comeback with “READY TO BE” along with the title track “SET ME FREE” on March 10th.
