TWICE to release new single “Hare Hare” in Japan on May 31st 

TWICE announces a new single release in Japan, gaining popularity among local fans. 

Recently, through their official Japanese SNS channels, TWICE delighted fans by releasing individual and group teaser images following the announcement of their 10th Japanese single album, “Hare Hare”. 

TWICE members in these images mesmerize fans with elegant yet seductive vibes, adding to the curiosity for their new album with their unique and alluring gazes.

Earlier, TWICE had announced their plan for ‘TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’ in JAPAN’, marking their first stadium entrance in Japan as the first K-pop girl group. Since their debut in Japan as an overseas artist in March 2019, TWICE quickly entered the Tokyo Dome and, in April 2022, proved their prominence as a top K-pop girl group in Japan by achieving three consecutive sold-out concerts at Tokyo Dome.

Moreover, in July, Mina, Sana, and Momo will form TWICE’s first subunit, MISAMO, and make their official debut in Japan. MISAMO is composed of TWICE’s three Japanese members, Mina, Sana, and Momo, with a name formed by combining the first letter of each member’s name. MISAMO will release their first Japanese mini-album on July 26th and actively promote in their home country. 

TWICE kicked off their fifth world tour at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul on May 15th and 16th. They will perform 23 concerts in a total of 14 locations worldwide, starting with Sydney, Australia on May 2nd and 3rd (local time), followed by Melbourne on May 6th and 7th, Osaka on May 13th and 14th, Tokyo on May 20th and 21st, Los Angeles on June 10th, Oakland on June 12th and 13th, Seattle on June 16th, Dallas on June 21st, Houston on June 24th and 25th, Chicago on June 28th and 29th, Toronto on July 2nd and 3rd, New York on July 6th, and Atlanta on July 9th.

Through this new world tour, TWICE will enter the Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo, the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, and the MetLife Stadium in New York, holding a total of six stadium concerts. In particular, TWICE broke a record by being the first K-pop girl group to sell out all seats at the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Powered by the strong support from their fandom ONCE, TWICE is rapidly gaining worldwide popularity. Their new Japanese single album “Hare Hare” will be officially released on May 31st.
