BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie are surrounded by dating rumors again, with various alleged footage of their date in Paris.
On Twitter on May 18th, a video said to be of BLACKPINK Jennie and BTS V walking together hand-in-hand on the street of Paris emerged, drawing huge attention and re-raising dating rumors.
Later on, further photos were released, showing people believed to be Jennie and V leaning against a window at their accommodations, gently stroking each other’s hair as they chat affectionately.
While the later photos have been proven to be of other people, not V and Jennie, the first video is convincing to a lot of people. Netizens who saw the video also left comments such as, “If there were only photos where faces weren’t clearly shown, we could argue that it’s not V and Jennie, but the person in the background looks like the managers who departed with them,” and “The hats they’re wearing are ones V and Jennie usually wear.”
In addition, a foreign netizen added credibility by posting a “pararazzi photo” of V walking down the street with a male manager, wearing the exact same clothing in the alleged video with Jennie.
Meanwhile, V left for Paris on May 15th to attend a photo shoot and event for luxury brand Celine.
Jennie is also staying in Paris, having been invited to the screening of her drama “The Idol” at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.
Rumors of Jennie and V’s relationship have been raised steadily since last year due to a series of supposed “leaked photos”. However, both parties’ agencies have kept silent about the rumors, stating it was their “personal lives”.
