Song Hye Kyo sheds her lovely image and boasts venomous expressions in the official teaser for “The Glory”

An official teaser video for the upcoming Netflix original series “The Glory”, which features actress Song Hye Kyo, was recently uploaded.

In this video, Song Hye Kyo adopted a 180 degree change, to the point that even her acquaintances were taken by surprise. In particular, actress Song Yoon Ah exclaimed, “Oh my god”, where Fin.K.L member Lee Jin and actresses Jeon So Ni, Park Sol Mi, Park Hyo Joo, and more left comments such as “I’m so excited”, “Such a change”, “Goosebumps…”, “Wow, I’m so excited right now”, and so on.

“The Glory” is a K-drama series written by the famous screenwriter Kim Eun Sook, who was behind major hits like “Goblin” and “Mr. Sunshine”. The drama also stars Song Hye Kyo and Lee Do Hyun. 

In the teaser video, Song Hye Kyo delivers unconventional lines one after another, such as “Some hatred resembles longing… It’s impossible to get rid of”, “What if anybody, or anything, had tried to help me?”, and “Maybe a friend or a god? Even the weather, maybe. If not…then a sharp weapon”. The actress also brings to life sharp dialogues like “Oh no. What should I do? He said you’re going to hell”, “There will be no mercy”, and “there will be no glory either”, raising curiosity about the play.

In addition, the gaze of Song Hye Kyo, who normally shows a lovely appearance, fills the camera with a menacing expression that can subdue her opponents. 

Meanwhile, “The Glory”, which will be released on December 30th, is a drama depicting the story of a woman whose soul was shattered after suffering from school bullying, and risked her whole life to prepare for a desperate revenge scheme.
