Netizens re-examine the remark of a plastic surgeon who appeared on tvN’s program “Love Switch” in the past.
Recently, an article titled “Plastic surgeon who had blind dates 150 times” was posted on the online community FMKorea.
The article contains the story of a plastic surgeon who guested on tvN’s past program “Love Switch”.
The plastic surgeon, who was 39 years old back then, confessed, “I’ve gone on blind dates about 150 times but still couldn’t find a partner”.
Shocked by his confession, the panelists and female audience couldn’t hold back their curiosity and asked, “You’ve tried blind dates 150 times but is still single. Is there any problem?”.
The plastic surgeon gave an unexpected answer. He said, “All the 150 women I met underwent plastic surgeries”, adding “That’s why I’ve decided to not care about eyes and nose surgeries anymore”.
Before that, the plastic surgeon was introduced as a person who has not only a good academic background but also appearance and wealth. He graduated from a prestigious university and was running two hospitals in Seoul.
However, it seems difficult for him to meet the right partner because he always wondered if the person he met on the blind date had plastic surgery or not, like an occupational disease.

On the other hand, others poured criticism, saying “Undergoing plastic surgery is not a crime. If you don’t date anyone among that 150 people because they had plastic surgery, then don’t get married”, “Aren’t you making money from people who got plastic surgery?”, etc.
