The male lead is Cha Eun Woo, the female is? K-drama “Today’s Lovely Dog” announces major cast

2 co-stars of Cha Eun Woo in the upcoming K-drama adaptation of “Today’s Lovely Dog” have finally been revealed 

According to Joy News 24 on September 13th, actress Park Gyu Young and actor Lee Hyun Woo were casted as major cast members for the upcoming drama “Today’s Lovely Dog” (working title).

This K-drama is adapted from a webtoon of the same name, and follows the life of female lead Hana, who is cursed to turn into a dog if she kisses someone of the opposite sex, as well as her romance with the male lead Jin Seo Won, who is afraid of dogs. The original webtoon took first place in the Sunday webtoon ranking chart, and has received great love. 

In addition, idol-actor Cha Eun Woo previously became a hot topic after confirming in his solo fan-meeting that he’s starring as Jin Seo Won. 

For this series, Park Gyu Young will play the role of Hana, while Lee Hyun Woo will assume the role of Lee Bo Gyeom – a mountain god who cursed Hae Na’s ancestors. Finally, Cha Eun Woo will transform into Jin Seo Woo, who developed a phobia of dogs after a childhood trauma. 

Han Han-na, played by Park Gyu-young, is a woman cursed to turn into a dog when kissed. Lee Bo-gyeom, played by Lee Hyeon-woo, is a mountain god who cursed Hanna’s ancestors. Lastly, Jin Seo-won, played by Cha Eun-woo, is a character who became afraid of dogs from childhood trauma.
