“A battle of 24 women,” Netflix revealed detailed information for their next entertainment show “Siren: Island of Fire”

Physical power, strategic ability and cooperation are the key elements for success in “Siren: Island of Fire.” 

With “Physical: 100” coming to an end on February 21st, attention is also being paid to Netflix’s next entertainment show called “Siren: Island of Fire,” a battle for survival between 24 women. Scheduled to air in the second quarter of this year, wit, fighting power and cooperation are required to compete for survival on an unknown island.

Women gathered from various fields, from police to firefighters, bodyguards, stunts, soldiers and athletes, with top-notch physical prowess and strategic minds, form six teams to compete against one another.

Through missions that go beyond their limits, only one team will survive until the end and be deemed winner of the show.

It is rumored that the cast still decided to appear with the determination, “I want to face my limitations,” and showed a strong will to engage in highly intense training months before filming.

Held for six nights and seven days on an unknown island, the matches promise to bring unpredictable entertainment through extreme situations and various surprise elements that require strong power, mental battles, and strong teamwork.

In addition, set against an island-wide scope and the solid worldview of “Siren: Island of Fire,” the narrative and relationship of the cast will arouse the interest of viewers.

“Siren: Island of Fire” is produced by Studio Modak, the same production company for “Korea No. 1,” and directed by producer Lee Eun Kyung of “Paik’s Spirit,” “Coffee Friends” and “Street Food Fighter.”

Writer Chae Jin Ah of “Paik’s Spirit,” “Youn’s Kitchen” and “Three Meals a Day” participated in the composition, and producer Go Min Gu, who oversaw “Meeting for Work,” “Yoo Quiz on the Block” and “House Cook Baek,” will be the lead producer.
