Jungkook Performs Live On NBC’s TODAY Show And Replies To 10-Year-Old Fan’s ‘I Love You’ Confession

BTS’s Jungkook made a fan young fan cry and shook New York city with an amazing live stage

On November 8th (KST), Jungkook appeared in the CitiConcert Series of NBC’s representative morning show “TODAY” and performed a solo outdoor performance at TODAY Plaza.

Jungkook showed up on NBC’s live stage and sang “3D”, “Standing Next to You” and “Seven”. Despite the cold weather, ARMYs waited in long lines to watch Jungkook’s performance and filled the streets of New York with their loud cheers and chants.

A 10-year-old girl shed tears when the female MC approached the audience and held the mic towards her for an interview. The little girl shouted “I love you”, showing how much she was happy to meet Jungkook on her birthday. Jungkook responded, “I love you, too”, with a warm look. In addition, Jungkook even said, “Happy Birthday”, loudly when the crowd told him that it was the girl’s birthday.

During “Seven” performance, Jungkook showcased his great sense and sweetness by completing the heart pose of a fan. Although the sound quality was not good, the BTS member still impressed the audience with his stable live singing skills.

However, Jungkook went on the official fan community and shared, “ARMY, I’m sorry. The live was bad. I have no excuse. I’ll do my best on the next live show”. In response, ARMYs commented, “What are you talking about? It was perfect”, “I can’t believe he said this”, “OMG”, etc.

Meanwhile, Jungkook released his first solo album “GOLDEN” on November 3rd and went straight to the top of the Daily Album Ranking. He also dominated the top spots on Oricon Daily & Weekly Album Rankings, proving his hot popularity in Japan. According to the latest Billboard chart release on November 7th (local time), two of his songs, including “TOO MUCH” and “3D”, appeared at No.93 and No.100, respectively, charting for two consecutive weeks.
