Actress Lee Jung Hyun gave birth to a baby girl on April 20. This is the first child of the actress and her husband.

Actress Lee Jung Hyun, star of the movie Peninsula (2020), has just given birth to her first child. The good news was announced to fans on April 23 through Pinetree Entertainment – Lee Jung Hyun‘s management company.

“On April 20, actress Lee Jung Hyun gave birth to a healthy baby girl at a hospital in Seoul. Lee Jung Hyun is resting and recuperating. The actress is now very comfortable and happy.”

After announcing that Lee Jung Hyun had just given birth, the representative of Pinetree Entertainment also revealed about the return of the actress in the near future. The announcement read, “Lee Jung Hyun plans to return to promote a new work as soon as she recovers. We would like to thank everyone for your congratulations.”

As planned, this June, she will return to the big screen with a role in the movie Decision to Leave. Decision to Leave is the highly anticipated work of director Park Chan Wook. The film is one of the representatives from Korea to compete for the “Golden Palm” award at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival held in May.

Lee Jung Hyun got married to a doctor in April 2019. Three years after the wedding ceremony, the couple welcomed their first child.
