“The inability to stop thinking is a dreadful pain”, Taeyeon shared a meaningful message via Instagram.

SNSD Taeyeon shared on her Instagram Story on March 19th a quote from Eckhart Tolle’s essay book “The Power of Now” that begins with “The most significant hindrance to the connection with existence is identifying with the mind and the self. It forces us to constantly think.”

The captured text read, “The inability to stop thinking is a dreadful pain. However, because most people experience this pain, we do not feel it and take it for granted. By constantly being tormented by mental noise-like thoughts, we cannot discover the inner stillness that is inseparable from existence.”

In this book, author Eckhart Tolle explains that all the pain and anxiety we feel come from ourselves being trapped in the illusion of the past or the future. He says that what we believe to be the past or the future does not exist and is merely a fantasy created by our past experiences and thoughts.

Recently, Taeyeon has been drawing attention through her social media activity with meaningful messages. She captured and posted a quote from writer Kim Ttokki that reads, “Everything changed. Thoughts, hearts, and people. Everything I thought would last forever eventually changed,” and also captured a scene from Netflix’s original series “The Glory” in which Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon) submits her resignation, and wrote her name ‘Kim Taeyeon’ above it.

Meanwhile, her fellow Girls’ Generation member Sunny recently revealed that she has no knowledge about the SM Entertainment dispute and does not hold any related stocks.
