Actress Son Ye-jin (Son Eon-jin) confessed her feelings about being an actress.
tvN’s variety show “You Quiz on the Block” aired its 142nd episode of “In My Head” on February 16th with actress Son Ye-jin as the first guest.
On this day, MC Yoo Jae-seok said, “You haven’t rested a year since her debut, and you have appeared in about 30 productions. That’s why your nickname is So (Cow) Ye-jin.” Son Ye-jin said, “I’ve been working for 22 years, and if it is about 30 productions, how much did I really do? I haven’t rested even for a year,” with a smile.
Also, “There are not many movies (that I can participate in) as an actress. No one put any (pressure) on me, but I think I continued to act with my own responsibility. I want to rest so much, but when I read a good script, I think, ‘I have to do it.'”
The actress also confessed her hardships as an actress. She said, “There are always many emotional scenes in the work. A few days before the shoot, I wake up early in the morning and go to the local playground. I walk around the playground while listening to music, thinking “Can I do well?” and “What if I can’t portray this feeling on set?” she confessed.
Especially, “I want to run away countless times. One of the bad things about this job is that no one can help me. I feel really lonely the moment I stand in front of the camera. When the camera is on, I want to run away, but I have to do it nicely again. I think it was a repetition of those things,” she said, drawing attention.
