RIIZE has hinted at a hot debut by setting a new record even before their official debut.

SM Entertainment’s rookie boy group RIIZE has set a record as they reached one million followers on their official Instagram account just four days after its opening at midnight on August 1st, making it the fastest record among K-pop groups.

RIIZE, consisting of seven members – Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton – is creating much buzz ahead of their debut this September. Interest is growing as this record marks the start of a new era in K-pop history.

Furthermore, RIIZE is planning to expand their communication with global fans. Following their highly-discussed Instagram account, they will officially open accounts on YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, and Weibo at midnight on August 7th. They will share content to announce their debut countdown, widening the scope of interaction with their international fans.

RIIZE, a group name that combines the English words ‘Rise’ and ‘Realize,’ conveys the meaning of a team that grows and realizes dreams together. They also introduce their unique music genre ‘Emotional Pop,’ which expresses their emotions through their music.
