Hwasa comments on her past collaboration stage with Park Jin Young, “I was too ambitious back then”

Lee Hyo Ri mentioned Hwasa’s collaboration performance with Park Jin Young on “Dancing Queens on the Road”.

The June 29th broadcast of tvN’s entertainment program “Dancing Queens on the Road” showed the members Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyo Ri, BoA and Hwasa doing the song-changing project.

After making the decision to perform Hwasa’s solo debut song “TWIT”, Lee Hyo Ri summoned the original singer Hwasa to Jeju Island. Hwasa introduced the story of “TWIT” to Lee Hyo Ri and revealed her music taste, saying “I like opposite things. If the melody is bright and cheerful, I would like the story to be sad”.

Hearing that, Lee Hyo Ri said, “I think Hwasa doesn’t like sticking to a certain framework”, revealing that Hwasa’s performances always make her curious. She brought up Hwasa’s joint stage with Park Jin Young when she wore shocking plastic outfits, saying “I was very surprised by your green hair”. Hwasa burst into laughter, saying “I was too ambitious back then”.

Lee Hyo Ri reacted, “Who would do it like you? It would be very boring if all the stages are just pretty”. She also expressed her desire to create a different performance of “TWIT” with her own style.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “Dancing Queens on the Road” tells the story of Korea’s top female dance singers doing a national concert tour. It airs every Thursday at 10:30 p.m.
