Singer Yoon Sang’s Son Set to Debut as a Member of SM’s Rookie Boy Group in September

The son of singer and composer Yoon Sang and actress Shim Hye Jin will debut as a member of SM’s upcoming boy group.

According to Sports Chosun, Yoon Sang’s eldest son, Lee Chan Yeong, will debut in September as a member of SM’s rookie boy group.

Born in 2003, Lee Chan Yeong became known for his face and name through his past appearances on variety shows with Yoon Sang. He gained keen attention from the public, especially for his handsome visuals.

In 2018, during SBS variety show ‘Single Wife 2,’ the current situation of Yoon Sang’s family living in New Jersey was shown. At that time, Chan Yeong, who had dreamed of becoming a swimmer, garnered attention with his idol-worthy looks and elegant aura.

At that time, Chan Yeong, a promising junior swimmer in the United States, began to dream of becoming a K-pop idol. It has been confirmed that he has been preparing for a long time. As an SM trainee, Chan Yeong has received systematic training within SM and  will finally debut in September with other members such as Sungchan, Shotaro, Eunseok, Seunghan, and more, who have been introduced through NCT and SM Rookies.

SM’s rookie boy group is currently in full preparation for their debut in September. Recently, they successfully shot their debut MV in Los Angeles.
