“See You in My 19th Life” approaches finale with new twist, will the main couple has a happy ending?

“See You in My 19th Life” takes a drastic turn in the latest episode.

See You in My 19th Life” is reaching its final episodes while maintaining a relatively stable rating. Episode 10 recently aired with an average viewership of 4.4%. The episode opens with Ban Ji Eum (Shin Hye Sun) being bugged by blurry memories, but she still pushes through to enjoy moments of being in love with Mon Seo Ha (Ahn Bo Hyun). They go out to eat, drink wine, and talk about the past accident with no hard feelings, as every misunderstanding is cleared. Nonetheless, memories from her first life continue sneaking in through her dream, where she is perplexed by a face that looks like Seo Ha.

The next day, Ji Eum receives a call telling her that Ae Gyeong was hospitalized. Ji Eum and Seo Ha rush to the hospital where they meet Min Ki. He knows why Ae Gyeong is falling ill without any obvious reasons. He also reveals that, if Seo Ha continues staying with Ji Eum, Seo Ha will be in grave danger.

Also in this episode, Seo Ha exposed Oh’s true nature with the evidence that his mother left behind 20 years ago. He can finally banish her from his mother’s hotel but does not know that Ha Na was the one who sent him the proof (Han Na is also his mother’s reincarnation). When Han Na sees him so happy, she cannot stop herself and run to hug him. She also gives him a turtle keychain because Seo Ha once told his mother that he was a turtle in his past life when he was young. Upon seeing the keychain, he thinks back to his late mother.

At the hospital, while Ji Eum is trying to figure out what is wrong with Ae Gyeong, Min Ki reveals that she is the one who is putting Ae Gyeong at risk. He tells her to try to remember her first life as it is the only way to solve current problems at its core. She rings a bell and memories from her past life return vividly. However, Ji Eum is confronted with a brutal truth: It was Seo Ha who killed Seol – Cho Won’s past life – in her first life. She cries in agony and unconsciously strangles Seo Ha when he approaches her.

With the new twist and only two episodes left, viewers are eager to see how the conflict will be resolved.

“See You in My 19th Life” will air every Saturday and Sunday on Netflix and tvN.
