At the press conference, Seulgi said, “I’ve been doing a lot of activities, but I’m nervous about promoting as a soloist. I haven’t felt this way so far, but I feel it now that I’m here. Please give the album a lot of attention.”

Seulgi continued, “It’s my first solo album in 8 years since my debut. I’ll show you a bold and powerful performance that’s different from before along with a variety of vocal colors.”

Seulgi’s first mini album has a total of 6 songs with different moods, including the title track “28 Reasons”, “Dead Man Runnin”, “Bad Boy, Sad Girl”, “Anywhere But Home”, “Los Angeles” and “Crown”.

“28 Reasons” is a pop dance song with a signature groovy, heavy bass and whistling sound, and the lyrics feature a character who is both good and evil. She not only has pure interest but also mischievousness toward her opponent.

The MV for “28 Reasons” captures the self-conflict in the dream through sensuous and cinematic footage, and combines a high-quality dance performance where viewers can feel Seulgi’s elegance and restrained intensity at the same time.

In addition, Seulgi’s first b-side track “Dead Man Runnin” vividly captures the empty and precarious feelings caused by past wounds. “Bad Boy, Sad Girl,” which features rapper Be’O, highlights Seulgi’s drowsy vocals and Be’O’s emotional rapping.
