NewJeans Claims Top Spot in November Star Brand Reputation, Surpassing BTS and Lim Young Woong

NewJeans topped the monthly star brand reputation rankings in November, following their high ranking in the singer brand reputation

According to the Big Data analysis results announced by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute in November 2023, NewJeans took the first place, followed by BTS in second place and Lim Young Woong in third place.

The star brand reputation analysis targeted entertainers, singers, trot singers, drama actors, movie actors, boy groups, girl groups, and sports figures, analyzing the brands in the top rankings through a big data reputation algorithm to understand the relationship with consumers. The Star Brand Reputation Index included the recommendation index as a weighted indicator.

From the 4th to the 30th place, the analysis revealed Son Heung-min, Kim Hye-soo, Lee Kang-in, Seventeen, Red Velvet, Faker (Lee Sang-hyuk), BLACKPINK, IU, Park Jin-young, RIIZE, TWICE, Namgoong Min, Lee Chan-won, (G)I-DLE, Kim Min-jae, Tak Jae-hoon, YoonA, Kim Ho-jung, Baek Jong-won, Park Bo-young, Kim Ha-sung, Taeyeon, Kim Yoo-jung, Lee Byung-hun, Han Hyo-joo, Lee Jung-hoo, and Girls’ Generation.

Director Koo Chang-hwan of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute commented on the November 2023 big data analysis results, stating that NewJeans secured the first place as a brand and has become a global Hallyu icon for the MZ generation. The second-place BTS is leading global fandom culture even in individual activities, and the third-place Lim Young Woong is growing alongside a community gathered by positive influence. The fourth-place Son Heung-min is leading Korean football as the national team captain, and the fifth-place Kim Hye-soo has made history in society over 30 years at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
