“Dr. Romantic Season 3” accidentally reveals clue to final ending in series of wrap-up photos

“Dr. Romantic Season 3” wrapped up 6 months of shooting with many emotional and memorable moments.

After the 8th episode, the medical drama racked up a nationwide viewership rating of 13.8%. After 6 months of restless filming, the third season of “Dr. Romantic” has come to an end on May 25th.

The cast took a series of wrap-up photos to their personal Instagram and expressed their gratitude for a wonderful filming time. Upon seeing the photos, fans of the series were touched, especially by the last scene of an operation by Doldam Hospital’s medical team. 

Additionally, a photo of Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung drew attention. The pair appeared together and smiled brightly in a close-up photo. It is said that, in an interview, both actors said that the third season of “Dr. Romantic” was an important milestone in their careers.

Among the pictures, one detail stood out. A birthday cake was written with the words, “Goodbye Woo Jin”, while other characters did not have a cake with a similar message. This draws attention to a possible sad ending to Ahn Hyo Seop’s character.

Nonetheless, many netizens believe it was a mere coincidence. They say that the series is only halfway through, so it is hard to draw a final conclusion. In addition, long-term fans hope that Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae can have a satisfactory, happy ending in the end.

“Dr. Romantic Season 3” will air on SBS every Friday and Saturday.
