“The Zone” Season 3: Lee Kwang-soo leaves, Yoo Jae-suk and Yuri stay

Disney+’s “The Zone: Survival Mission” is approaching the launch of its new season, but actor Lee Kwang-soo will be leaving the show

According to hankyung.com on Nov 16th, Lee Kwang-soo will be departing from “The Zone” Season 3. However, Yoo Jae-suk and Yuri are still scheduled to appear. The departure of Lee Kwang-soo, who showed excellent chemistry with Yoo Jae-suk and Yuri as the “Soo-Yoo-Ri three siblings” in Seasons 1 and 2, leaves behind a sense of regret and raises interest in what new changes “The Zone” will bring.

“The Zone” is a real survival variety content where the cast is placed in isolated situations and must endure. It gained popularity by presenting unconventional endurance missions within the simple rule of “endure for 4 hours”.

Lee Kwang-soo, with his comical appearance of shouting “give up” repeatedly in the face of extreme situations as well as versatile entertainment skills, including body gags and witty remarks, added a special touch to the show, showcasing himself as an all-around entertainer.

Meanwhile, Lee Kwang-soo has been cast in Netflix’s original series “Bad Relationship” alongside Park Hae-soo, Shin Min-ah, Lee Hee-joon and Kim Sung-kyun. He is also actively participating in tvN’s “GBRB: Reap What You Sow”.

Season 3 of “The Zone”, which has undergone a new revamp, is in production with the goal of airing next year.
