Angelababy Uses Son to Plead Huang Xiaoming to Save Her Career?

As actress Angelababy faces a career crisis, she is said to have resorted to asking her ex-husband, Huang Xiaoming, for help

After becoming embroiled in controversies after being said to have attended BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s performance at the Crazy Horse night club, Chinese actress Angelababy is facing a career crisis, from being blocked on Chinese SNS sites to being removed from shows. As a result, the actress had no choice but to reach out to her former husband, Huang Xiaoming for help.

And after a period of relative silence, Huang Xiaoming is said to have responded to Angelababy’s persistent pleas.

According to Sina, Angelababy has been continuously reaching out to Huang Xiaoming to salvage her career. After being ignored several times, the actress had to resort to using their son, Xiaohaimian, as leverage.

In a surprising turn of events, Huang Xiaoming extends his hand… but not fully. In particular,  the actor agrees to lend Angelababy money to compensate for the damages caused by the Crazy Horse incident to the actress’s projects and brand endorsements. However, he refuses to assist Angelababy in saving her career, despite having extensive connections.

Additionally, Angelababy is believed to have sought help from various sources to mitigate this crisis in her career. Among them, she reportedly reached out to a high-ranking executive at Zhejiang Satellite TV. She hoped that this former superior would extend support by airing her films and protecting her through the storm.

Contrary to Angelababy’s expectations, the top executive at Zhejiang TV bluntly rejected her, promising assistance only after the current controversy is resolved. Currently, Zhejiang TV has made its stance clear by removing Angelababy from the upcoming season of “Keep Running”.

It is evident that Angelababy is currently facing an “silent ban” in the Chinese entertainment industry. Additionally, she has been banned from posting for three months on various social media platforms, including Weibo and Douyin. It will be a long time before the audience sees Angelababy on screen again, through projects like “Back for You” or “Everlasting Longing.”
