The arrest warrant for VIXX Ravi, who is suspected of evading military service due to false epilepsy, has been dismissed.
Kim Ji Sook, a senior judge in charge of warrants at the Seoul Southern District Court, conducted a suspect interrogation (warrant review) before detention towards Ravi on March 6th.
Judge Kim dismissed the warrant, saying, “In light of the objective evidence collected so far, it’s difficult to believe that there are fears of escaping and destroying evidence related to the suspect who admits to the charges.“
Ravi was not on the list of people to be prosecuted for evading military service, which was previously released for the first time. However, the military service evasion special investigation team of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office requested an arrest warrant for Ravi on March 2nd.
Ravi, who has been serving as a public service worker since October last year, is suspected of forging an epilepsy medical certificate by conspiring with a military service broker. According to the investigation, Ravi applied for a re-examination with a forged medical certificate and received Level 4 result.
Regarding this, Ravi’s agency GROOVL1N said, “If there is any request related to this matter, we will faithfully comply with the investigation.“
