‘Nam Tae-hyun’s Drug Accomplice’ Seo Min-jae Asks Netizens To Refrain From Criticizing Her Acquaintances 

On January 2nd, Seo Min-jae posted on her personal SNS account, saying “I will continue to reflect on my mistakes. It’s okay to criticize me. Just blame it on me, I’ll take responsibility”.

She added, “However, please don’t say bad things to people who give me a chance to do a part-time job and show me how to get back to a normal life. Please”.

Earlier, a media outlet reported that Seo Min-jae has been working part-time at a cafe in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do. 

On the same day, she also posted a photo taken at the cafe and resumed SNS activities. As her update drew keen attention and aroused heated discussions online, Seo Min-jae decided to reveal her thoughts personally.

Last year, Seo Min-jae wrote several posts on SNS exposing her ex-boyfriend Nam Tae-hyun’s drug use. The two are currently on trial for administrating methamphetamine together at Seo Min-jae’s house in Yongsan-gu, Seoul in August. The prosecution demanded a 2-year imprisonment for Nam Tae-hyun and 1.5-year imprisonment for Seo Min-jae. The sentencing hearing will take place on January 18th.

Due to the drug case, Seo Min-jae lost her job as a car mechanic at a large company. Through the media, she confessed, “I lost everything I had, like my stable job, and the image I had, though it’s hard to call it my honor, has also been ruined. My family members also lost their jobs”.
