On January 18th, Nam Bo-ra uploaded a new video on her YouTube channel.
The video showed Nam Bo-ra trying on dresses to attend the 2023 KBS Drama Awards. She shared, “Since I’ve done feminine concepts so many times, I ambitiously challenged a chic outfit this time. Hair, makeup, and clothes should be in sync”.
Nam Bo-ra then spent 3 hours trying on various types of dresses. She then discussed with a stylist to coordinate their opinions, but they couldn’t reach a conclusion so the actress decided to delay the fitting to the next day. Nam Bo-ra confessed, “It was the longest fitting in my life, a bloody fitting. I asked them to let me try a style that I had never tried before, but I also shared some worries and doubts. I previously tried images that were safe for my image, that’s the reason why I wanted to change. Taking a challenge is not easy at all”.
The next day, Nam Bo-ra continued discussing the dress while getting makeup done for a shoot. She said, “If I wear a dress, I’ll have to sit with a straight back throughout the ceremony, but I think my spine will hurt a lot. Also, I cannot eat anything that day because I’ll be wearing a dress.”
On the 31st, she went to an awards ceremony wearing a dress chosen after much consideration. Regarding the colorful accessories, Nam Bo-ra’s stylist team said, “You’ll be in trouble if you lose it. Make sure it’s safe with you”, the actress nervously said, “I heard it’s a billion won in total. I’ll be very sad if I lose it”. During the red carpet event, Nam Bo-ra took photos with actors from “Live Your Own Live” team and left great memories.
After the awards ceremony, Nam Bo-ra wrapped up her video with a greeting, saying “Happy New Year. I’ll work harder in 2024 to receive better results”.
