When asked about the reason why they chose this work, Jae-chan honestly confessed, “My company tried to stop me many times. They asked, ‘Do you really feel okay about playing this role? Are you sure that you can do it?’, and I told them I wanted to do so. I wanted to challenge myself so I tried to persuade the company to let me join the project”.

Although the LGBTQ+ topic has rarely been seen in Korean dramas due to sociological concepts, Jae-chan and Seo-ham still portrayed their characters perfectly and received many compliments from the viewers.

Previously, Jun (A.C.E) also challenged a role in a BL historical drama called “Tinted With You”. In an interview, he also shared the reason why he selected this genre and expressed his advanced viewpoint on the LGBTQ+ topic: “I’m quite open-minded about LGBTQ+ and I respect the values and decisions of each person. I don’t think this is wrong because we were all born in different ways”, adding, “I feel proud that I can tell a little part of their stories and give a different opinion through this role”.
