Lee Hyo-ri Went To “Red Carpet” Last Recording Amid Fans’ Love

The last recording of KBS 2TV’s “The Seasons: Lee Hyo-ri’s Red Carpet” was conducted at the KBS building in Yeouido, Seoul on March 26th.

Prior to the recording, many fans from Lee Hyo-ri’s official fanclub “Hyori Together” visited the KBS building to greet the female singer before wrapping up the three months of “Red Carpet”. From holding banners with witty messages, such as “What should we do if we cannot see each other anymore now?”, to turning into flower wreaths themselves, many fans gathered to express deep affection for Lee Hyo-ri.

When Lee Hyo-ri showed up after getting out of the car at around 3 p.m., fans immediately shouted loudly. The female singer responded to fans with a bright smile and headed inside the studio for the final recording with gifts and letters from fans.

“Lee Hyo-ri’s Red Carpet”, which marked Lee Hyo-ri’s first solo MC challenge in 26 years since her debut, has been airing every Friday since January 5th.

In particular, Lee Hyo-ri’s performance as an MC in every broadcast received compliments from viewers. Despite being a late-night show, “Red Carpet” has consistently maintained ratings of more than 1%. It aroused keen public interest by ranking second place among all KBS programs in the first week of January and attracting more viewers in the first week of January compared to the previous seasons of “The Seasons”.

On last week’s broadcast, which aired on the 22nd, Lee Hyo-ri shed tears and expressed her regrets. Announcing the news of her withdrawal from the show, Lee Hyo-ri said, “Next week will be the last night of ‘Red Carpet’. Since it’s the last night, I’m going to bring special stories to you guys with special people. I’ll say goodbye for the last time next week.”

Meanwhile, Zico will replace Lee Hyo-ri as the next MC of “The Seasons”. After 2-3 weeks of reorganization, the new season will premiere on April 26th.
