Korea Entertainment Management Association releases stance on FIFTY FIFTY crisis, “We can no longer turn a blind eye to it”

The Korea Entertainment Management Association revealed their position on the FIFTY FIFTY controversy.

On July 18th, the Korea Entertainment Management Association made an official press statement, saying “The situation that Attrakt and FIFTY FIFTY are experiencing right now is very regretful, and we sincerely hope that both sides find a smooth solution as soon as possible to prevent further spread of social controversies”.

The Korea Entertainment Management Association explained that the entertainment industry is built upon collaborations between individuals, and the relationship between artists, producers, and managers is a partnership based on trust. The association emphasized that they cannot turn a blind eye to cases where artists are taken away due to inappropriate pressures from external forces.

In addition, they promised, “We will make every effort to prevent more unpleasant incidents from occurring by improving related systems and principles for the establishment of a logical structure and the industry development.”

Lastly, they announced their plan to take firm measures if the conflict between Attrakt and FIFTY FIFTY caused more controversies, saying “We will actively express our stance”.

Lastly, the association stated, “We urge Attrakt and FIFTY FIFTY to quickly resolve misunderstandings and resume entertainment activities”.
